In Pics – A round up of my solo exhibition – RAW at The Chicken Farm Gallery, Orgiva

On Friday 18th October I was delighted to welcome guests to my first solo Exhibition.   I presented my unique style of works entitled RAW to an eclectic and stylish bunch and was overwhelmed by their curiosity and compliments.  Lots of exciting networking took place and my head and calendar are now full of promising future projects.  Guests were entertained by Oscar, a humble and smiley dj playing a medley

Muses Competition

On the night of my solo exhibition RAW, I invited my guests to pose alongside my art. They were challenged to create their own muses pose.  Guests were entered into a competition and judged by me later. The Female Gaze: Carol Reynolds’ Captivating Art Event in Dúrcal

During the month of August, I had the  opportunity to share my work in a local setting—Salón del Monte in Dúrcal. A community bar where dominoes are played by the men throughout the morning and women enjoy coffee, cake and a chat in the evening.  Then to be joined in the afternoon, by families and friends for a round of drinks, catch up and tapa. This expo, The Female Gaze,

The Invitation: Be My Muse Here’s how I put the word out on social media: “Women are invited to pose for a

Below The Belt – More Dirty Tackle

Let’s get one thing clear: what’s below my belt?  That’s between me, my doctor and maybe a lover, not a judge, not a journalist and definitely not a stranger in a toilet queue. This umbrella series brings together two collections: Intersecting and What’s in My Pants is None of Your Fucking Business. They push back against the relentless public obsession with sexual identity, genitalia, and public toilets.  The UK Supreme Court’s

Art as Rebellion: Fighting the Patriarchy Through Creativity

Art has always been a weapon of resistance, like a well-aimed stiletto at an unwelcome mansplainer. Women throughout history have wielded creativity like a battle axe, challenging oppression, reclaiming their narratives, and carving out spaces for self-expression. My work, especially my project RAW, follows this legacy.  It asks what it means to exist, create, and rebel within a patriarchal world.  And answers with colour, unique form and the vulnerable truth.
